About Me
Hello! My name is Jennifer Lopez and I am currently residing in Marina, CA. I am a third year undergraduate student at California State University, Monterey Bay majoring in Psychology. I am from Chula Vista, CA and graduated from Southwestern Community College with an Associate of Arts for Transfer in Psychology. Since transferring from SWCC to CSUMB I have developed a deeper passion and enthusiasm for the Psychology field.

PAR- Localization of Ethnic Studies in Salinas Union High School District to provide meaningful learning opportunities for students to engage in historical interpretation through inquiry and methodological apprenticeship.

Koret Scholar, CSUMB
Examining the history of social work and its relationship with abolition. Study the methods in which liberatory social work is being done to end the prison industrial complex.
Fall 2020
Reimagining Community Safety Project, CSUMB
PAR- Study of the history of policing in Salinas and the outcomes it has on communities. Gathering community insights into the City of Salinas’ budget proposals to divest from policing and invest in community safety by creating social and cultural wealth.
